Our TUMMY, BOOTY, THIGH Shaper Shorts (TBTSS) was officially launched last Thursday as the first piece of shapewear from our Waistlab Wear collection.

Before it was available to the public, we gifted our TBTSS to a few lucky #WomenOfWaistlab.
We truly appreciate the support that our WOWs have given us through all these years. So we thought: Who else better to gift our new products to than the WOWs who have supported us from the start?

So what did our WOWs think of our TBTSS?
Tummy and thigh control
“My tummy looks flatter and my waist looks slimmer too. It gave my tummy and inner thighs firm control and there were no bulges. My inner thighs were no longer rubbing against each other, and I just feel so much slimmer.” - Nazreen
Our TBTSS has a stitched-in tummy flattening front panel that’s responsible for the “firm control” that Nazreen felt.
As many of our WOWs complained about their tummies splurging, we made sure to have this tummy flattening front panel. You no longer have to feel self-conscious about your tummy splurging out again!
No rolling
One of the MOST important things to consider when buying shapewear is whether or not it will roll.
Our TBTSS is a pair of high-waisted shaper shorts that has an anti-slip silicone waistband to prevent it from rolling downwards at your body. It also has an anti-slip double-folded hem to stop it from rolling upwards at your thighs.
But...do these features really work?

The verdict is out! No one will catch it rolling beneath your clothes so it stays seamless and hidden.
Disclaimer: Even with preventive measures like the anti-slip waistband and double-folded hem, your TBTSS might still slip if you buy a size too small. That’s why it’s important to refer to our size chart so you buy the correct size.
Cool and breathable
Our TBTSS has a gusset that’s made of 100% cotton lining. And cotton is, of course, one of the best fabrics to keep you cool in this hot and humid weather.
“The material felt heavenly and cooling. Singapore is pretty humid so we always want to be wearing clothes that are light and cooling. The body shaper feels soooooo comfortable and felt like a second skin. It gave me maximum comfort. I didn’t have the urge to take it off.” - Nazreen
But here’s something not many people know: nylon and spandex are both cool, light, and breathable fabrics too! Our TBTSS is made of 68% nylon and 32% spandex.
- Nylon: Allows air to ventilate at your skin. It’s also sweat-wicking so your sweat evaporates quickly.
- Spandex: Breathable, sweat-wicking, and most importantly, stretchy.
